Mai Tai

tropical nutty boozy

aged rum, lime juice, orange curaçao, orgeat, simple syrup

Created by Trader Vic in 1944 (or Don the Beachcomber rival claim). The original tiki benchmark that launched the Polynesian pop era.

Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into a double rocks glass over crushed ice. Garnish with mint sprig and spent lime shell.
